About this video
This video assumes you are already logged into the Sketchanet editor. If you don't know how to do this, you can find out how here.
In Sketchanet you can create reusable background image settings, and apply these settings to the background of sections or cells on your website.
To apply a background setting to a section, select that section, and then choose the Section Graphics tab from the right hand settings panel. To apply a background image setting to a cell, select that cell, and then choose the Cell Graphics tab. Editing a background image setting is the same process whether you do so for a section or for a cell, and this is shown in the video above.
Sometimes a background image may be too bright for light coloured content to be visible above it, or vice versa. This is easily rectified within Sketchanet by applying a filter to the background image. You can find out how to do this here.
Note that it is possible to apply multiple background images to the same background image setting. This would allow you to have (for example) one image aligned to the left and one image aligned to the right, or whatever arrangement you require. You can watch a video tutorial on this here.
To make a background image appear fixed relative to the viewport, so that is doesn't move when the page is scrolled, you must check the box "image does not scroll with page" from the position tab. This effect is called 'Parallax', and you can watch a tutorial on how to apply it here.
